Google has just launched their new video calling app called “Duo”. The Duo APK can be installed on any Android device and also Duo is available for iOS/iPhone so you can video call between Android and iOS.
Now Google Duo differs from Hangouts app in that you can actually video call people with a phone number, whereas Hangouts didn’t support phone numbers. Also, Duo is more focused on giving you better video calling with better resolution so if you use video calling often, Duo may be the way to go.
While iOS only support iOS devices with their Facetime app (which renders it useless when video calling people with Android), Duo will be awesome way to connect more between the two major smartphone platforms.
You can grab the latest Duo app on the Play Store or if you prefer, you can grab the APK below and install it manually yourself.
