For those of you who want to run Pokemon Go on older devices running Android 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.0.3, 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich or Android 4.1.2, 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.3 Jelly Bean, thanks to a Reddit user, there is a modded Pokemon Go APK you can use which has removed the Android version requirement.
Now, most Android device running ICS or Jelly Bean will have outdated hardware, meaning Pokemon Go may run very slow or laggy. But you can still enjoy Pokemon Go with this modded APK. This APK does not include any hacks of any sort (such as GPS spoofing), it has been hacked to just run on ICS or Jelly Bean. Also, the code is open sourced so it is very safe to install, you can verify the code here.
If you have an Android device running ICS or Jelly Bean, please do try it and do let us know how well it works! This is the latest v0.35.0.
