For those of you who need Google HDR camera, you can grab the Pixel 2 Google HDR Camera for your Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, or S9 Plus. Now, these are not perfect ports as there may be bugs here and there but the back camera HDR+ and HDR+ Enhanced works well plus the back camera portrait. We would recommend using this camera ONLY for those things and stick with your native camera app for everything else. Of course, Pixel 3 camera should also be ported soon, we should have an update on that soon.
For those of you who want the power of the latest Google Pixel 3 smartphone camera, which has one of the best low-light performance, you can now install the modded Pixel 3 camera specifically modded for the OnePlus 6 smartphone and no root is required. However, you will need to be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie, so make sure to upgrade your OnePlus OxygenOS to latest Android 9.0 and should also work on any custom ROM or HydrogenOS ROM running Android 9.0 Pie.
Google Pixel 3 Camera APK is HERE for Pocophone F1 users. While the camera on the Pocophone F1 is very good and actually does keep up with the Google Pixel 2 camera in our camera comparisons, you can get additional performance out of your Pocophone F1 by using the latest Google Pixel 3 Camera APK file. Now, most photos taken in daylight will not make a huge difference but in low-light, the Pocophone F1 suffers from not having OIS(Optical Image Stabilization). In low-light, use the Google Pixel 3 camera with the HDR+ Enhanced mode and the photos come out much cleaner as the Pixel 3 camera stitches up multiple exposures and also gives you much less noise. Make sure to enable manual HDR controls in camera settings. Definitely, installing the Pixel 3 Camera APK brings your Pocophone F1 to a whole another level of low-light photography and no root is required, simply install the APK file and enjoy both Pocophone F1 native camera along with the Pixel 3 camera!
Google has announced the NightSight feature on their latest flagship smartphone Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. Well, that feature is actually not available yet and will be available with an update in the upcoming months. But XDA user cstar27 has figured out how to enable it in the Pixel 3 and has released a modded version of the Pixel 3 camera that you can install and works for all Pixel smartphones including the original Pixel/Pixel XL, Pixel 2/Pixel 2XL, and Pixel 3/Pixel 3XL.
Pixel 3 was just announced today and boy, we have the Pixel 3 Google Camera APK now available! This APK has been confirmed to work on all Pixel devices including the original Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL. Now, there are many upgrades to the Pixel Google Camera and probably the biggest new feature is that now you can adjust amount of the portrait mode blur. With the new Portrait mode you can also add color pop, which works quite well for both front and back cameras.
For those of you who want the latest features of Google HDR+ camera from Pixel 2 on your Nexus 6P or 5X or Pixel, you can grab the Camera NX, which is an open-source modded camera APK that will give you a modded Google HDR+ camera with working portrait mode. This camera app is highly-recommended over stock camera as you get the additional portrait mode, especially for the front camera. By using this modded Google HDR+ camera, your camera performance nears that of latest Pixel 2 and possible better photos in certain situations.
For those of you who want to take advantage of Pixel 2’s HDR+ processing capabilities on your Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus or any other Android smartphone, you can now use the latest ported Google HDR+ camera which has been tested to work on the latest Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus also. Currently I have tested many other devices including Galaxy S8, S8+, S7, S7 Edge, LG G6, LG V20, and they all work well. This APK should also work on all Android smartphones except for a few. It doesn’t hurt to try so just try it first and you have nothing to lose since you can simply uninstall it if it does not work out for you.
For those of you with any Samsung Galaxy smartphone(such as Galaxy Note 8, S8+, S8, S7, S7 Edge, S6, S6 Edge, etc…etc…), you can now get Google HDR camera working on your phone with BOTH front and back portrait mode working.
This Google HDR+ Pixel 2 Camera works on the following models:Galaxy Note 8 Exynos/Snapdragon Galaxy S8/S8 Plus Exynos/Snapdragon Galaxy S7/S7 Edge Exynos/Snapdragon Galaxy S6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge Plus Galaxy Note 5 Galaxy S5 Exynos/Snapdragon
I’ve tested the Google HDR+ camera APK on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and S8(Snapdragon) for about a week, they both work flawless and bring additional HDR mode to non-Pixel phones. If you need extra 1-2 stops of dynamic range on your photos, Google HDR+ mode will give you exactly that(and make sure you have it on when using the camera!), bright areas exposured correctly.
